I am getting "SSL handshake error" when trying to install licenses using TMS. How do I fix this?

Solution

This can happen on old or unpatched Windows hosts.  We think that this is probably caused by not having the necessary CA certificate installed.

We've been told that starting Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge and browsing to https://tls.thinlinx.com will fix the problem (you may have to quit and restart TMS afterward).  Presumably this triggers Windows to download the missing CA certificate? - we're not quite sure, but apparently it works.
